A downloadable program for Windows

LaunchRabbit is a generic game launcher built for the OpenSurge Engine. What it can do is as follows:

  • Enable Touch-Screen mode (v0.6.1 executables only)
  • Change graphics quality (v0.6.1 executables only)
  • Change the game directory where OpenSurge loads from.
  • Load individual levels
  • Modify how the game screen appears (resolution and windowing)

Plans are in place to add more features as time goes on and keep the launcher up to date with any changes made to OpenSurge's command line interfacing.

LAUNCHRABBIT DOES NOT COME BUNDLED WITH OPENSURGE OR VICE VERSA! The launcher requires that you have already downloaded the OpenSurge engine or Surge The Rabbit from https://opensurge2d.org in the same directory.

Install instructions

  1. Download the package for your operating system.
  2. Unzip it in the same directory as the OpenSurge executable

If you wish to modify the source code, using Visual Studio 2019 is recommended.
